Note the first: If you, sales person, call in and automatically assume that I'm in HR, or I'm the receptionist, just because I'm female, I will be very annoyed with you.

You might think that you do this for everyone, but gosh oh golly, my male coworkers have not once had this experience.  So hmmmmmmm.

Note the second: My dream job is still small-business "find me better software!" consulting, but the main reason I want to work for a firm, rather than run said firm, is because I never want to do those sales calls.  I feel bad for the callers, that I am in no position to even consider their offers.  I would, in some cases, if I were allowed to, but alas.
