nonethefewerI want photo management software. This software must be Mac-based or open source stuff (PHP, Ruby, &c); I do not want a web service.
I basically want something that is sort of similar to Flickr:
* tagging
* grouping
* sorting by photo date: within tags, within groups, all
* the ability to manually change the taken on date
* saving metadata, in case I change services
* maybe creating a title/description, why not
This way, I can keep all my photos in one place, and find them based on things like "all photos of $person" or "all photos, in taken-on order, of when I was in Montréal". And then, I am not stuck in this software forever because it's the only thing holding the metadata.
