So far, my habit of writing a to-do list here as the day goes on, for things to do when I get home, has been total win. I actually get things done, and I rarely actually feel pressured to finish a list, unless the list is due to external time-constraints, like moving, yarr. Yesterday, I organised the clothes in my room, moved some boxes out of the main way, pruned Josh's poor plant, put the dishes in the dishwasher from various parts of the apartment, got some work done on this testing document, and collapsed by around 22:30.
(1) I noted to myself that if I went back in time to 16-year-old X and told her that someday she'd enjoy hanging up clothes, she would mock me roundly.
(2) Gah, I still have a bad bad awful habit of eating in my room. I can't tell whether to break myself of it, or to just
Course, I generally make such lists private, because Bob knows, to-do lists are rarely all that interesting.
Tonight, for home:
* Unpack the boxes in the gaming room. Or move them to the boxes-room. I don't really care.
* Move the heavy chairs to the boxes room.
* Move the folding chairs/table to the gaming room.
* Gah. DUDE. Call the management co. and get the GOT-DAM LIGHTS FIXX0RED. Or put a lamp in, or SOMEthing.
* Unpack one (1) box of books or summat. Put them on the cubby-shelf.
* Ask Josh to fix the slipcover; take notes. :P
* Hang up that one poster of mine, woo.
* If I'm sufficiently insomniatic again, see whether Amarok works with my Shuffle; if so, get the formatting of playlists between Rhythmbox and Amarok, import the playlist I made on the former into the latter, and gwar, find out re Last.fm and Amarok.
* And if I'm wicked bored, ping whoever I need to at DW to figure out why I can't import all my comments.
In utterly related news, Adderall means my sleep goes all wonkified for the first few days, too. I'd been off for a fortnight. Last night, I crashed at about 22:30 and went to sleep around 23:00, then woke right up at 04:00. I don't mean "couldn't sleep", I mean "woke the fuck up yall". *eyerolls @ self*
