"smart" != "bright".
Apr. 1st, 2011 11:49 am...I realise I have declared a moratorium on internetting on this day, but I must share how I am a total moran.
Steps to be a moran:
* On 2011-03-31, rewrite a PHP script that puts together a .tex file for PDFing and faxing.
** This script, among other things, creates a folder that has today's date in the name.
* Run into a few issues, as one does.
* Make a quick text file that holds the "wipe out/renew" commands, which include, among other things, deleting the existing folder.
* On 2011-04-01, try to fix the issue.
* Still run into a weird issue, where new .tex files are appended to the existing one.
** Yes, fopen() is opening the file for appending.
** But, it closes the file at the end, so what gives?
* ...
* ...
* ...realise that the "wipe out/renew" commands have been referring to a folder that was made yesterday.
* So of course it's appending things. It's appending to what was made today. Because I never deleted today's folders, I've been trying to delete yesterday's, all day today.
/facepalm
