Gaaah, I can't connect to the wireless network, and I don't know whyyy.  The laptop just scans and scans -- "Acquiring network address" forever.  I hate internet.

Mine did that the other day. Turns out I'd accidentally bumped the "turn off the wireless card" switch. Because those are so useful and every computer needs one.

At a previous job, Toshiba shipped me a fleet of 40 laptops with the wireless switch turned off at the factory. I shipped back the first three as "bad wireless" before I noticed something was amiss...
