I'm looking through apartment listings.  Naturally, I made a spreadsheet in GDocs for this, that shows the address, distance in miles to downtown, distance in miles to our favourite bar (a number of friends go there, so it's good for comparison), the commute to Josh's work, the commute to mine, square footage, rent, deposit, notes about the apartment, and my notes.  There's a line item for Josh's current place, and one for trista/penghuin's place, for comparison.

Josh: One day, you're going to chart something, and it's going to make me shudder to find it.  I don't know what it is yet, but I know it'll happen.
Xtina: *cracks up*

I made a Zoho application that not only tracks all the apartment data, it creates a static GMap image of where the apartment is, as well as links for Josh's and my commutes.

Also, aye, if I cooked I'd make something like that, too.  And probably cross-ref it with a things-per-unit price checker for the nearby grocery store, so I know how much to budget.  ("Okay, 8 eggs, where 12 is $2.99...")

Oh!  I wonder if she's put in something to show how much she'd have left, and whether she could put another recipe in there?
