What's the time frame in question? :)

*waves hand*  The past reasonable-seeming $time_units.  :)

That said, I could have just as easily selected 3 if this poll had popped at just the right time. I guess my stable line is 7, with occasional dips as low as 3, and jumps up to over 9000 once in a while.

Reason: I have a car worth, maybe, $1200, which now requires $850 in repairs. And yet I am doing it, for reasons that don't seem entirely clear to me but come down to something like this "where would I be able to find a $850 car?"

Could you get $350 for the car as it is?

Probably not. It doesn't really work. They have to make repairs to the trasmission.

Oh, and while the bluebook value of my car is around $1200, the used car dealerships will only stock cars as low as around $3000 - $5000. I could borrow, of course, or tap into savings, but I would rather not do that. It is possible I could buy a used car directly in the $1000-1500 range, but I might still end up having to put money into repairing it.

I'm at work, my last week here. I'm bored, also working on the Arisia web site which is fun, but frustrating because the server isn't playing nicely. I had a good weekend. I get to hang out with [livejournal.com profile] wispfox tonight. So annoyances, but enough positives to make it not so bad.

My answer is for right now, and lovely people being kind to me are highly credited for helping to lift me from negative numbers.

Very, very anxious that I actually won't get paid for a fat chunk of allegedly high-paying work I did in January.

I'm just a hair under 9000 at the moment.
