That has been a long-run hobby of mine, particularly in the long periods of unemployment. In my case it's more within a collapse of civilization scenario than in a dropped-in-the-jungle scenario. Have you learned to make cheese and keep goats?

Me too. Like, everything from Man Vs Wild and Survivorman to the psychotic survivalist nutcases with their fall-of-modern-civilization survival plans and their emergency bags full of ammunition. I love all of it. I'd actually do some of it if it didn't get me branded as a head case. And if the missus would let me buy an AK-47...
