Why does my chest hurt?

It feels as though I miraculously have gas, attacking a nerve, located between my breasts, about an inch in.  I blame societah.

- This happened yesterday about this time.
- Different food.  Yesterday was just oatmeal and a couple of cookies, today was a PB sandwich.
- Getting up and walking helps a bit.
- Deep breaths (in through nose, aim for chest, out through mouth) help a little bit.

Acid reflux?

It could be simple heartburn, it could be acid reflux... dunno what else. I had something like that once, spent several hours in the ER because I was afraid it was a heart attack, and it turned out to just be really really bad gas. It only happened the one time, although once in a while I do get a little pressure there.
