Trigger warning: discussion of rape.

Tiger Beatdown: #MooreandMe: Four Days Outside the Tower. I’m Scared. I’m Tired. I’m Crying. And I Won’t Stop.

Anyone, anyone, who even hints at that tired old bullshit of "The poster would be really good for the progressive cause if she'd just calm down" gets quite thoroughly banned, fucking regardless of how I might know you.

I am tearing up right now from reading that post.  God damn, this world, what the fuck.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention! I've been largely under a rock, so I had no idea.

I've been following this on Tiger Beatdown, it's a pretty amazing thing they are doing.

Another great response is by Naomi Woolf, here.

I've just seen the partial transcript of an interview in which she said some pretty awful things.

I still think that her piece which I linked to above is good, but her overall statements on the matter, not so much.

Ah, I answered before I saw this comment.

Yes, I think as it stands, that thing I linked makes sense to e.

And yet, when I read the transcript of the debate with Jaclyn Friedan, I just want to yell at Woolf and tell her to shut up.
