Mar. 23rd, 2011 11:14 amI'm looking for web-based software, or webware (two different things), for scheduling techs. We have four techs in another castle office, and I want something slightly more robust than Google Calendar for scheduling purposes.
Mostly, it's for them to communicate their schedule to us, so. Things:
* Display schedules in a weekly format.
* Ideally, have some support for differing time zones.
* Ideally, have a sort of tally of hours on a weekly, per-tech basis.
* Allow for notes when schedules are changed. (For example, if Sue changes her shift from today to the weekend, allow her to enter "day off -- moved" in the notes.)
PHP-based, ASP-based, or webware, thx.
[eta] If cleverly using Google Calendar is actually something that works, bring it on. I'm just tired of using Google Spreadsheet for this thing.
( [eta2] Software similarities. )
