I'm using MS Office OneNote 2007 to take notes of my various processes for my coworker.  It's a thing.

Yesterday, it worked fine.  Today, it looks like both the size and the letter spacing have shrunk drastically.  And yet, the font bit says that it's at Calibri size 11.

Mousing over or double-clicking on ink-chunks reverts them to normal, temporarily.

What the shit?

... Oh, it seems some fonts have gone wonky.  Okay, then.

To clue in, I suppose:

I have been wanting to leave this job for forever*.  However, I couldn't afford to take the chance of leaping into the unknown, due to my perfectly wretched state of financial affairs.  Without a guaranteed job, I couldn't do it.

But hey!  I got let go!  Sweet!  It's out of my hands!  Helps that I'm better in crisis mode than in enduring acute crappus mode.

I mean, it's still somewhat sucky, it's never 100% fun, but it's not nearly the suckfest that it usually is.

* It's been more than a month, so my sense of realness states that I have worked for this company forever.

I just went shoes shopping, since I need a pair that'll go well enough with a skirt, and men's shoes won't really cut it.  (Not the ones I have, anyways.)

...

I am currently utterly horrified.

I found some women's shoes that I don't mind.  The brand is Lower East Side, for what that's worth.  Uh.  They're closest in how they look to these, only the toe is square-er, the heels are shorter/wider, and there's a buckle 'cross the top.

I'm having internet troubles on my main computer, else I'd take pictures.

This YouTube video is mandatory in posts about shoes.  (It's worth it for the flaming hula-hoop person.)

[eta] Okay.  I tried on the shoes with a sweater and skirt, fine.  I wore men's jeans and a men's shirt all day, fine.  I wear the latter and the shoes, and I feel deeply weird.
