Turns out what I want when the air is chilly but not cold and redolent with dead leaves, and the sky is overcast, and I have the annoying but not ailing parts of a cold, is a window open, an otherwise warm abode, food, drink, a calm movie, no fan, and something productive to do.

So: skirt, hoodie, window open enough for coolth to waft in, O Brother playing, and ironing to do.
