Have you ever read too much of a style of writing, and suddenly you can't unsee it?

I have two, currently:

1: The "Oh," sentence starter, that continues with a hand-waving stand-in of an argument, in order to progress the essay.  Oh, I realise that it's a useful tool.  However, it's overdone.

2: Asking and answering several questions in a row.  Do I think it's useful?  It can be.  Do I think it's overdone?  Perhaps a little maybe.
