Two things:

1) Today's xkcd is awesome, thankee kyra_ojosverdes.

2) You should read the alt text for that comic.  Rather, you should always see the alt text, all the time, for that comic.  Also for Qwantz, Dr. McNinja, Wondermark, Achewood, and A Softer World.

( It doesn't work for Wondermark, but see here for fixes to get it to work for xkcd and ASW. )
