One thing I love about moving: cleaning things out.  This weekend, I plan to pack a suitcase full of sweaters (not an exaggeration), borrow some movies from some local-type friends, and watch movies whilst processing more yarn for dismissal.

...I still need to mail things.  *facepalm*

I haven't acquired much in the way of new cruft (apart from being overeager about sweaters), so that's okay.

I think I'm supposed to be feeling more nervous about this whole thing than I am.  Mostly, my brain is telling me that we'll never find a place that's good, inexpensive, and nearby, unless we find it at the wrong time, which would mean doom.  I'm steadfastly ignoring it.

I'm quite enjoying that too. I find the pre-move cleanout much more motivational than others, because anything I don't take means one less thing I have to carry.

Yeah, the other aspects of moving are meh at best, but the pre-move cleaning is what win is.  Every bag I take out to the curb for freebies or trash or whatever?  Less in the truck!  Whee!

Although to be fair, everything I have right now could fit in my closet.  The fun of renting a furnished room.
