2^5!

I think my "I don't really celebrate birthdays so much" is twofold:

* I'm mildly non-materialistic.  I don't ever get rid of cards, it seems, but other stuff... it has to be meaningful and small, or^ useful. don't like getting more stuff.

^ If I meant "exclusively or", I'd've said xor, dammit.

* I'm kind of forgetful about birthdays.  Uh, mine included, unless the number is amusing to me.

Buuut, I now have a Google calendar that is just there for people's birthdays.  It has one-week and on-day reminders.  So MAYBE I won't forget in the future.

I love being able to remember now that I have gcal. Which basically means that unless you'd rather not, I'm likely to continue the trend of a card or a call or an email or whatever. Reciprocation in no way required.
