Intriguing.  Just recently - like, this week - I've lost the ability to consistently use Ctrl-C to copy text.

It's usually in textareas in Firefox.  I often can, but sometimes when I select text and hit Ctrl-C, nothing.  I'm looking in the clipboard, and nothing is copied.

I have no way of reproducing this.  Firefox hiccups, and I can't copy from it.

What the hell?

Happens to me occasionally, just often enough to be REALLY ANNOYING. I want to say always on Windows, but I'm not 100% sure it doesn't happen on Mac too.

No known cure.

I use both Mac and Windows, Firefox in both, and I can't recall it ever happening in either (unless the entire browser was crashing, in which case my brain labeled it as "browser crashing" and I don't remember any further details than that; browser crashes happen more in Mac for me, b/c my Mac has less memory).
