Knitty's spring issue is out!

My favourites already:

* Shipwreck Shawl, even though I don't even know what I'd do with it.

* Flit 'n Float scarf

* Steggie kids' dinosaur cardigan, so effing cute!

* Topaz is v. pretty and v. modifiable, pattern-wise.

I'm in deep deep love with Shipwreck.

And I'm already planning those fingerless gloves.

And I'll knit Decimal, I think, though with the shorter length and the waist-shaping because the plus version shown looks kind of dumpy. But I LOVE that she chose to design specifically for ease of sizing.

But first I have to finish the Toe the Line shawl I started. MUST FINISH.

I like the gloves, too! I was thinking that the bf's friend, who plays in a quartet with him, would like them for cool weather outdoor gigs.

I like the shawl too. It is a bit beyond my abilities, though, I think.

(all I can do is a simple knit stitch, straight...I need a knitting club or something so people can show me what to do in person...I learn things like that almost exclusively kinesthetically)
