I have, potentially, a stupid question.

I'm using Pine, via PuTTY.  When someone attaches non-text items to their email, I see this line:

Cannot display this part. Press "V" then "S" to save in a file.

This is fine, I have a public_html\tmp folder for such things.  I tire of typing that in, though, and went looking for a way to have that be the default save-to folder for attachments.  Apparently, this is only possible in PC-Pine; on this page, search for 'file-directory'.

Why does not-PC Pine not have this capability?
