It's strange, how half the people who see that seem to think it's cute and adorable, and the other half get depressed. I'm in the "depressed" column, too (although if I watch it without sound, I'm closer to the "cute" column).

I think there is an element of cute in there for sure, but that's not the first thing that comes to mind. I think the word I would use is bitter-sweet. I find it very captivating. When amanda42 posted it awhile back, I think I watched it like 3 times in a row.
