I sound like a freaky cat lady, and I don't give a good goddamn.
Magic has been lethargic, or depressed. She threw up a bit over the weekend, but that could be partly attributable to her having yoinked a bit of milk from my cereal bowl. She threw up past that, though. As in, she's done it before, the milk thing, so I know a guesstimate wrt duration.
I gave her a half pill of metoclopramide, an anti-emetic. I gave her also a bit of wet food that had been refrigerated. Currently, she's in distress. She went to the litter box, but I can't confirm that she went in the litter box. She won't settle. She's pawing at things (like she would at litter, but at everything, you know). She's meowing like she wants something, but I can't tell what. I can usually tell if she wants food, or better litter, or for me to stop singing, or omg I'm in a bathful of water again, but I can't tell what this is.
When I try to move her (patting at her forelegs to coerce her to move), she moves like... not like she's in pain, but like she's in discomfort. If I thought she had any concept of the future, I'd say she's moving like she's expecting to be in pain.
I'm greatly inclined to believe it's constipation. I don't think I can do anything, tonight. She may have an appointment tomorrow (irrelevant story), so I'll ask that they look into it.
