To be more accurate, I've kind of inherited a laptop from B's workplace. There's still a chance that the original folk will want it back. I told B that, if that happens, I'd like to try to buy it from them straight-out.
I'm going to download the trial version of Norton Ghost, and do a full backup of the system before going forward. That way, if they do want it back, I can just restore everything from backup and send it on over.
