Major agreement on most of these plus a couple of my own.
+sidebar gadgets, in addition to the slideshow, CPU/memory monitors are nice (using a non-microsoft add on so I can track both cores), Some of the analog clocks look very shiney.
- I haven't found an easy way to have different background picture on differnt monitors. Both monitors have the same wallpaper unless I make a mega background picture.
+The included wallpaper images are pretty good looking.
~Start menu will take some getting used to.
+power management / shutdown works very nice. system comes back to full power very quickly. Still have to try hibernation though.
