It's binary o'clock.
Dec. 1st, 2009 12:37 amIt occurs to me.
Someone elsewhere mentioned the oddness of treating someone who is special to you in a way that is less special than normal friendsfolk. To me, this is a difference in definition: one is "one who is treasured, who deserves more specialness than those around them", and another is "one who is treasured, around whom one can relax".
I wonder how the definitions break down, I vs. E.
To me, one who is special to me is one around whom I can relax. The concern for me is around me being too lazy to make it known to the other person that I find them to be special.
I may also be hopped-up on tiredness.
