I had a dream that I took that off-ramp around and down the country road to the dirt highway, and ended up talking with someone about how there's like no traffic at all on this road any more, what a shame.

Ahahahaha.  Eff you, iTunes, MediaMonkey is winning hard for me, and you lose.

- I can sync my Shuffle using MM.
- There is a subfolder of the library called Files To Edit.  Under there are things like Unknown Artist, Duplicate Titles, and Dead Links.
- MM does not organise my music files.  It will also allow me to delete files from either the library or both the library and my computer.  (If you don't have iTunes organise your music, you can't delete the file.)
- There's an iTunes skin, heh.
- If I did want MM to organise my files, I can change how it does it.  (iTunes sets it to %root%\Artist\Album\## Title.ext, last I remember.)  And I can opt to have it organise or auto-organise.
- Yall.  TAGS.  TAGS.
- I can list the path and filename in the library!
- There are half-stars!
- Oh oh, "artist" and "album artist".  Oh!
- And I can change the filename from the song's properties?  Really?  *tear*

It could be better if I could change multiple songs kind of like Lupas Rename or using regex or something.  ("Title casing for all", "Who put the &%*$ artist name in the track name??", "Double-check that poor character stuff", &c.)  If I could do that for the filenames too ("Get rid of the track number, curse your eyes"), without having to organise (as above)... I think I would truly die.

And I don't know if this is missing or I can't find it, but I do like how iTunes has a "go to" link in the Now Playing window, so wherever in the library, I can go to the currernt track in its playlist.  Found it!

But.  Yes.  Eff iTunes for a poor deal.  *uninstalls it*

It... so... I can script things in MM.  And it comes with a case checker.  That assumes that the first letter after an open parenthesis is to be capitalised.

When someone says "Let's go hiking!", I hear "Let's spend the day being frustrated because you'll go slower than me!", and that doesn't sound like fun at all.

Apparently, I have some preconceptions about hiking.  They involve people who willingly stay together in a group to go from point A to point B in n timeunits on a predetermined path, and any exploring, by the very groupness of the group, is done as a whole.

I really don't like working in groups, have I mentioned?  I don't have the right mindset, I suppose.

Regardless, I'd like to go hiking, by myself, some day.
